This is a cooking class led by local dietitian, Julie Palmer.
We’ll use fresh seasonal produce grown by FPC’s Botanical Gardens Team to create colorful and nutritious sushi rolls. Under the guidance of Dietitian Julie, you’ll learn how to create perfectly seasoned rice, combine ingredients for the best flavor, color, and texture, and of course, how to roll it all up into the classic sushi shape.
You’ll also learn to make Japanese-style omelets, with a modern variation suitable for vegans. We’ll accompany our sushi with fun toppings and naturally-flavored, iced green tea mocktails.
