What Makes Nature Restorative?

Explore how time in nature can support focus, restoration, and overall well-being in this interactive workshop and guided walk. Discover why natural spaces can help calm and recharge the mind through research-supported restorative qualities of nature such as fractals, soft edges and curves, and colors. Then, head outdoors to observe and document restorative elements throughout the Conservatory gardens using mindful observation techniques. Along the way, we’ll share practical ideas for bringing more nature into your everyday routines and reflect on simple actions that can help strengthen your connection to the natural world.
