Instructor: Jessica Thompson Hi Friends! My name is Jessica and I am a self taught macramé artist from Bellefontaine, Ohio. Ever since I can remember I have made art. I’ve always painted, sketched, made jewelry, and in recent years picked up macramé and fell in love with it. I like to weave my own design aesthetic into all of my macramé art. I create wall hangings, plant hangers, and all sorts of accessories.

For me, macramé is a meditative activity and a way to slow down, focus my thoughts, and be present. I love presenting this part of macramé as a gift to anyone who takes a class with me. When I am not weaving you may find me hitting the gym or curled up with coffee and a book. I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, our girls, and our two English bulldogs Murphy and Duke Duke.
