Bonsai Demystified (Two-Week Workshop)

Have you admired a bonsai tree and wanted to create and keep a bonsai of your own? Learn the art and horticulture behind successful bonsai growing from Columbus Bonsai Society masters. Topics include pruning, wiring, soil, watering, potting, care and maintenance. In the first week, students will learn these basics through a demonstration and lecture.

The second week, each student will be provided with a plant and bonsai container to create their own bonsai to take home. Please note this is a TWO-WEEK long workshop. The class fee includes a one-year membership to the Columbus Bonsai Society, and all supplies are provided.

This is a two-week series and sessions will occur 10am-12pm on two consecutive Saturdays: June 20 and 27. The series is taught by the Columbus Bonsai Society and the class fee includes a one-year membership to the society.
