Come enjoy all the fun that summer has to offer at Franklin Park Conservatory! New this summer, in June, July and August, we will be open late for a new Special Engagement: Conservatory Explore Nights.

Each night will offer a lively festival experience including: live entertainment, food trucks, facilitated discovery stations, signature cocktails & mocktails, crafts, and a scavenger hunt. This month’s theme is: Backyard Bugs

Experiencing Conservatory Explore Nights: Backyard Bugs

All there is to do and see during the evening!

Bug Science Explore Ohio native bugs through a hands-on investigation. Guests will learn how to identify different types of insects and the importance of bugs in our area.
Scavenger Hunt The Scavenger Hunt for Backyard Bug Adventures will explore the relationship between plants and insects. Each family will be tasked with finding hidden bugs throughout the Conservatory. Families that complete the Scavenger hunt will earn a prize.
Lightning Bug Light-Up Craft
Temporary Glow in the Dark Bug Tattoos
The Bug Man Mark Berman, the Bugman will be on-site with his buggy friends to talk about the importance of bugs in our ecosystem.

June 3 - September 10, 2023 Garden Safari Thirty larger-than-life animal topiaries will be on display this summer! Explore the Conservatory Courtyards, Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children's Garden and Grand Mallway to discover topiaries filled with plants and colorful moss that mimic the colors and textures of fur, skin, scales and feathers.
June 3, 2023 - January 7, 2024 Paul Busse Garden Railway Journey with the trains through a miniature world of 47 botanical models made from all-natural plant material. Special elements to add to your itinerary include an enchanted tree hollow, two waterfalls, a bubbling brook and plantings specific to each themed destination.
