March Chihuly Night

FFranklin Park Conservatory owns the largest private collection of Dale Chihuly artwork in any Botanical setting in the United States. Chihuly Nights offer you the opportunity to view 16 installations spectacularly illuminated to create heightened drama and breathtaking views within the backdrop of the interior and of the warmth of the Conservatory. Enjoy exploring the plant collections and current exhibitions after dark. Botanica Gift Shop, The Garden Cafe and a cash bar will be open during these evening events. Enjoy a rotating line-up of musicians providing entertainment from 8:30-9:30pm and you can add a guided tour of the Chihuly collection to your evening experience.

Kelly Crum Delaveris: A fan-favorite among local Columbus Jazz fans, Kelly Crum Delaveris & Trio will perform a collection of jazz and big band hits.

Learn more about Dale Chihuly and the Conservatory’s Chihuly Collection by adding a docent-led tour to your Chihuly Night experience. These 45 minute experiences will walk you through the collection and focus on installations, as you learn about its history and the incredible contributions that Dale Chihuly has made to the development of glass as an art medium. Tours will be available at 7:30pm and 8:30pm nightly. Pre-registration is recommended as spaces are limited. The tour can be added when purchasing your Chihuly Night ticket.

Admission Rates

Chihuly Nights are Special Engagements occurring after General Admission and Special Engagement rates apply. All guests are encouraged to reserve tickets in advance online to guarantee admission and make check in efficient.

  1. Through Museums for All, participants in SNAP, EBT, WIC & Medicaid and Access members receive Special Engagement admission for $4. Museum for All tickets can be reserved here.
  2. Members can purchase half-price tickets for anyone named on their membership.  If your membership level includes a guest, you can purchase a half-price ticket for the same number of guests as your membership allows.
  3. Free admission to special engagements like Pumpkins Aglow, Conservatory Aglow, and Chihuly Nights for Patron, Benefactor, and Monarch Society members; no advance ticket reservation required for donor level members, even if events are sold out.

Accesibility

Wheelchairs and motorized scooters are available for free on a first-come-first-served basis.

Designated parking spaces are available near the Main Entrance. Guests can be dropped off a short distance from the Main Entrance if necessary.

Service Animals are the only animals permitted at the Conservatory.

Do I need to reserve tickets?

We encourage all guests, including all member levels, to reserve tickets in advance to guarantee their preferred date and arrival time. Popular events may sell out. Please arrive at the Visitor Center with your tickets ready to be scanned within 30 minutes of your reserved entry time.

If tickets are still available, guests are welcome to purchase them upon arrival. However, if an event is at capacity and guests did not reserve tickets, they may be denied entry.

Are these events weather dependent?

No, the entire indoor Conservatory is open during Chihuly Nights so they will not be canceled due to weather. Refunds are not available due to weather.

Are refunds available?

Admission tickets to Chihuly Nights are non-refundable.

If you need to exchange your ticket, all requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance of your reserved ticket time. Requests must be directed to [email protected]. Using any method may result in the request going unanswered. Include your name, email address used to reserve tickets, and the date and time you would like your tickets moved to. A $5 fee per reservation will be assessed for all ticket exchanges

Is there parking available?

Yes, the Conservatory has a free parking lot for guests located off of East Broad Street. Guests can also be dropped off or picked up in front of the Main Entrance. Please see our map.

If necessary, additional parking is available at the Franklin Park Adventure Center.
