This is a hands-on class led by Conservatory educator, Nicole Tabit.
Learn the basics of needle felting by designing a festive floral and greenery themed ornament from wool. Felt is a textile material that is produced by matting fibers together, in this case with wool and a very sharp needle!
Decorate your ornament however you want – just apply wool roving to a central form to create a textile ‘painting’ to suit your style! Difficulty: beginner; all supplies provided. Having thimbles or finger protection is not necessary to felt, but sometimes finger pricking happens. Please feel free to bring thimbles or fingertip guards!
