The Wild World of Carnivorous Plants

This is a hands-on class taught by Conservatory educator Nicole Tabit.

Have you ever wanted to learn more about the mysterious world of carnivorous plants, or wanted to start your own collection at home but don’t know where to start? In this class, you’ll learn about different varieties of the plants, their evolution, care requirements, and beyond. At the end of class, participants will leave with their own carnivorous plant to care for!

Instructor: Nicole Tabit Nicole Tabit is the Community Outreach and Education Program Coordinator at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Her degree is in Natural Resource Management and Visitors Services from The Ohio State University. She loves to hike and be outdoors, but she also loves to create and combine her love for the arts and environment by tying natural elements into her art projects.
