Bring fragrance and beauty into your home by creating a planter filled with forced spring bulbs! Forced bulbs are spring-flowering bulbs that have been given a period of cold to encourage blooming at an unexpected time of year.
In this workshop, you’ll use seasonal bulbs already in bloom to design a container display suitable for indoors or outdoors. Using a sturdy industrial-style metal tub (perfect to repurpose later in your garden!), you’ll arrange a mix of colorful spring blooms and moss to create a living planter that brings joy and color to the rest of the spring. Throughout class, you will also learn how to force your own bulbs, and how to plant & store bulbs in your own yard.
